The Physiotherapist is accountable for providing high standards of Physiotherapy care within the Community Rehabilitation Program.   The post holder should be familiar with each of the clinical areas listed and must have specialty skills in at least one of the below clinical areas:

1. Early Intervention (Children from birth to 4 years of age who meet eligibly criteria)

2. Physical and Leaning Disabilities (special needs school for children aged  4 to 18 with Physical and cognitive challenges who meet eligibly criteria)

3. School Health (children pre-school through high school who meet eligibly criteria)

4. Seniors Team (ages 65+ and adults who meet eligibly criteria)

The post-holder is accountable for offering a broad range of services to support people in managing motor and functional impairments.  Post holders will have skills to offer clinical consultation to families, doctors, psychologist, care givers, teachers and other professionals.  

The post-holder must possess a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent and be registered or eligible for registration with the Bermuda Council for Allied Health Professions Council. A minimum of three years’ post qualification experience working with a variety of therapeutic approaches.
