The virtual version of Congress 2021 will held over the course of four days to be accessed from the comfort of your home or office. You will have access to the session recordings following the conclusion of the event, allowing you to learn from all of our knowledgeable speakers. You won’t have to choose one session over the other, making for a robust educational experience.
Why did the CPA decide to pivot Congress 2021 to a completely virtual Congress?
Since we’re not able to move ahead with an in-person event in May due to the pandemic, and because it’s more important than ever for communities to connect, it was decided to transition to a fully virtual format in order to protect the health, safety, and well-being of our attendees, presenters, exhibitors, and the communities you serve.
Will the dates of the virtual Congress 2021 be the same as the in-person dates?
Yes, we will deliver the virtual Congress 2021 during the same dates as the in-person event would have been held in May. However, you can expect to see some changes to the schedule to ensure that the format works with a virtual experience.
What will the schedule look like for the virtual Congress 2021?
There will be fewer session slots available than the in-person event can typically accommodate. However, the CPA will still provide great value to its community. We will leave many of the elements of the in-person event intact, including a poster gallery, concurrent sessions, a component for suppliers and sponsors, and networking/engagement opportunities. Change opens great opportunities for innovation and we are excited to explore these options and present a virtual Congress that captures the spirit of the in-person event.
What happens once I am registered?
Once you are registered, you will receive an email confirmation. You will gain access to the platform the day before the virtual Congress 2021 is scheduled to begin. Look for the subject line: “Login Information for the CPA’s Virtual Congress 2021”. Platform resources and reminders will be sent to all registered attendees closer to the event date.
Will virtual sessions be recorded and available post-conference?
All sessions presented during the virtual Congress 2021 will be recorded and made available on-demand to registered participants for up to one year post-event.
What is the registration window?
The super early cut-off date is December 31, 2020. The early rate cut-off date is March 31, 2021. The regular rate will remain until the end of the event.
What is included with registration?
Registration includes access to the virtual platform in order to participate in Congress 2021, all keynote presentations, concurrent sessions, the poster gallery, the exhibit component, and networking opportunities, including the chance to connect with your fellow attendees. All sessions will be recorded; therefore, your registration allows you access to these sessions on-demand for up to one year post-event.
