Overview:
Physiotherapists use leadership skills to create positive outcomes with colleagues, staff, volunteers and patients. Sometimes these leadership skills are a defined part of their role, for example managing office staff. Other times leadership forms an important part of their responsibilities, for example inspiring patients to develop commitment to their care plan. As professionals who play a key role in many communities, the ability to lead is a core competency they activate on problems and opportunities every day.
