Overview:
This presentation will focus on the assessment and management (both non-operative and operative) of various disorders of the hip region in young adults/athletes, including femoroacetabular impingement, labral tears, and proximal hamstring injuries.

Dr. Jordan Buchko

Speaker biography:
Dr. Jordan Buchko is an Orthopaedic Surgeon practicing in his hometown, Regina, Saskatchewan. He has been in practice since 2015. He has special interest and expertise in arthroscopy and sports medicine, with a focus on the shoulder, hip, and knee. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan and is the Orthopaedic Surgery Undergraduate and Postgraduate Education Director in Regina. He serves as team Orthopaedic Surgeon for the Saskatchewan Roughriders (CFL). He also helps look after the University of Regina Rams (USports) and Regina Thunder (CJFL) football clubs, and also treats various other amateur, junior, collegiate, and professional athletes.
