OTTAWA, ON \u2014 La physioth\u00e9rapie est un service existant et essentiel qui peut renforcer le syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 canadien et assurer que tous les Canadiens re\u00e7oivent les soins dont ils ont besoin. L\u2019Association canadienne de physioth\u00e9rapie (ACP) intensifie ses efforts de repr\u00e9sentation aupr\u00e8s du gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral, en pr\u00e9sentant des recommandations officielles \u00e0 plusieurs comit\u00e9s, y compris un m\u00e9moire pr\u00e9budg\u00e9taire qui a r\u00e9cemment \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 au Comit\u00e9 f\u00e9d\u00e9ral permanent des finances. L\u2019ACP se charge de mettre en \u00e9vidence le pouvoir de la profession de physioth\u00e9rapeute pour offrir des solutions de traitement novatrices au syst\u00e8me de soins de sant\u00e9 contest\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le m\u00e9moire pr\u00e9budg\u00e9taire de l\u2019ACP est r\u00e9sum\u00e9 dans le graphique ci-dessous, intitul\u00e9 : \u00ab\u2009La physioth\u00e9rapie \u2014 un traitement pour le syst\u00e8me de soins de sant\u00e9 canadien\u2009\u00bb. Le graphique met en \u00e9vidence les principales recommandations faites au comit\u00e9, ainsi que les preuves \u00e0 l\u2019appui de l\u2019impact potentiel de la physioth\u00e9rapie. Le graphique, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 avec l\u2019aide de physioth\u00e9rapeutes de tout le Canada, sera un outil essentiel pour alimenter les efforts de plaidoyer en cours et pour rehausser le profil de la profession aupr\u00e8s du gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u2009Les physioth\u00e9rapeutes poss\u00e8dent la port\u00e9e et les capacit\u00e9s n\u00e9cessaires pour relever les principaux d\u00e9fis du syst\u00e8me de soins de sant\u00e9 canadien\u2009\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Krissy Bell, cheffe de la direction de l\u2019Association canadienne de physioth\u00e9rapie. \u00ab\u2009Au cours de cette p\u00e9riode de planification critique au sein du gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral, l\u2019ACP se concentre sur la promotion de l\u2019inclusion de la profession dans l\u2019\u00e9laboration de strat\u00e9gies et de solutions qui aideront \u00e0 relever certains de ces d\u00e9fis. La force de nos recommandations repose sur des donn\u00e9es qui prouvent l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de la physioth\u00e9rapie et d\u00e9montrent l\u2019impact tangible qu\u2019elle peut avoir sur le bien-\u00eatre g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des Canadiens. Nous sommes enthousiastes \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e de poursuivre le dialogue avec les dirigeants du gouvernement afin de contribuer \u00e0 la construction d\u2019un syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 plus solide.\u2009\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n
