The successful incumbent will work in one of the four beautiful communities of Fort Smith, Hay River, Inuvik, or Yellowknife, independently managing their caseload diagnostic, intervention, treatment and referral services and health promotion and injury prevention education to in-patients, out-patients and community patients of all ages. There will also be opportunities to explore and work with many of the smaller communities, through travel clinics and telehealth videoconferencing.
Salaries start at $92,976, plus a Northern Living Allowance ($3,700 to $15,279, depending on community), health and dental benefits, a generous pension plan, outstanding leave benefits, relocation assistance, and professional development opportunities and education support.
Requirements vary by position and location, but typically require a master’s degree in Physiotherapy, with some positions requiring a minimum of two years of experience.
