Parkway Tuscany Village has a perfect central location that is close to 2 beaches, 3 high schools, top notch middle and elementary schools, parks and green spaces, tennis courts, pools, hiking, and biking trails, shopping, and the University of Victoria. The 3 school districts also contain our regional centres of excellence for soccer, football and baseball.
The clinic itself is one year old and is a beautiful purpose built space that you will love from the moment you walk in. Our team includes physiotherapists, chiropractor, massage therapist, kinesiologist and clinical counsellor. Our exceptional front end staff make clinical life so much easier via direct billing, excellent phone and booking support and a group of friendly faces to greet clients and make their first step in the care journey a positive one. Jane app and Slack make team communication and charting as easy as can be (we are also about to test AI charting as it becomes PIPEDA compliant in Canada so let us know if this interests you).
Your one on one patient care will take place in large and private treatment rooms, plus there’s a well appointed gym space for exercises, coaching and team treating.
Weekly or bi-weekly check ins with your Clinical Director ensure your work-life balance is in a good place and that both clinical and work related questions can be dealt with quickly and proactively. As per mentorship we have both structured and organic forms in place. Aside from amazing team mates with a wealth of experiences, you have access to monthly educational sessions mentored by an FCAMPT instructor, a UVic PT School teaching member and by team mates from within the clinic and from our sister clinics in Langford and Sooke. For those with an exceptional level of desire to grow clinically you can attend education sessions at our other locations as well.
Your contract agreement includes the opportunity to be an employee or contractor and has income ladder and income sharing opportunities to meet and support your patients and your clinical special interests. We have a great local reputation already and so your caseload should build as quickly as you wish. We do offer guaranteed income the first 3 months, however, to remove any financial worries you might have about the transition or starting out phase.
As per clinical special interests, we’d love to speak with someone who has a passion for pelvic floor care, manual therapy and IMS dry needling. We have champions within our clinical family who can help mentor these interests and we also offer an education allowance for those who take the commissioned employee route.
