A busy private practice hand therapy clinic is looking for a physiotherapist who is interested in hand therapy, experience is an asset, but not necessary. The job is full time or part time and will be at 1 or 2 of the clinic’s three locations. Training and mentoring is available as well as educational credits.
We receive referrals from the local physicians, OT’s and PT’s, and from clients. Our case load is varied including post-surgical clients, conservatively treated clients, and overuse syndromes. We have an experienced team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and a kinesiologist, who create a comfortable work atmosphere conducive for excellent practice and on-going learning. To encourage this, an educational fund is available.
The job is full time or part time and could be 4-5 days per week with 1 or 2 later shifts, (client appointments ending by 6:00pm) at 1 or 2 of our clinic locations: Victoria, Sidney, and Langford. Part time applicants will also be considered. The successful candidate will receive a signing bonus.
Training and mentoring is available for several years as required. New grads or therapists new to hand therapy are welcome to apply, as well as those with experience. We look forward to expanding our staff experience and interests by adding new therapists to our team.
