Andy Belanger - Coach Andy believes that a rewarding medical career is only possible when a doctor has harmony in his or her own  life,  and that harmony begins with easily meeting financial obligations. He’s devoted the past 13 years to teaching seminars based on a business model for medical doctors that allowed him to realize his own dreams for success, and while working long hours, keeps professional burnout at bay. Maggie Bergeron - Maggie is the Co-Founder and CEO of Embodia, the Canadian online learning marketplace for physiotherapists and their patients. A physiotherapist by trade, Maggie brings eight years of experience in private practice, global health and startup-level product management to her role. Maggie is well connected in the health technology community in Toronto and organizes the leading health tech event, HealthTO, which connects the health care and startup communities across the top business incubators including Telus Health, MaRS and Loblaw Digital. Sanjeev Bhatia - Originally a physiotherapist, Sanjeev Bhatia spent 10 years being at the forefront of running and growing one of the largest network of rehab clinics in Canada and, more recently, served as the VP, Operations for Myodetox - one of the fastest growing rehab companies in the world reaching millions of people via social media each month. In the first half of his business and technology career, Sanjeev spearheaded the design and development of a proprietary practice management software as well as its associated technologies. As such, he has worked with hundreds of clinic owners, therapists, front desk staff, managers, and executives to understand how they work, master how to implement change in the business, and ensure staff “buy-in”. Currently, Sanjeev works as a rehab technology advisor, is  co-founder  of CallHero, and facilitates working sessions each week with clinic owners across the country to implement the ultimate blueprint on running a clinic - aligning patient experience and operations with revenue growth strategies.  Full bio here

Laura Desveaux - Laura is an implementation scientist and physiotherapist. She completed her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto, then went on to pursue her  PhD  at the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute. She works at the Women’s College Hospital Institute for Health Systems Solutions and Virtual Care (WIHV), where she spends most her time exploring and evaluating on innovative healthcare solutions and models of care. Her scientific work focuses on policy-oriented evaluations of complex health interventions with the goal of understanding and optimizing delivery and system-wide scale-up. Specifically, Laura’s work seeks to understand the process,  mechanism (s) of change, and contextual factors that characterize an intervention, instead of simply evaluating whether the intervention worked ‘in general’. Laura works with system partners, designers, and technology companies to work towards solutions that reduce variations in care and improve quality outcomes. Her  projects  involve  partnerships with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Health Quality Ontario, the Ontario Medical Association, the Ontario Telemedicine Network, and Cancer Care Ontario, among others. Full bio here.

Max Di Paola - ADDATECH Systems Inc. is a Canadian company headquartered in Laval, Québec. We began as an information technology company that specialized in ‘ready for market’ product applications, consulting  services  and customized application development. However, in 1999 a  life changing  event for Max Di Paola aimed  ADDATECH  in a different direction. The outcome of this event became what we now know as “Clinicmaster”. Randy Goodman - Randy is one of the premier Sport Physiotherapists in Canada. He has provided care and advice for some of the best athletes in the world in the field of injury recovery, return to sport and athlete development.  This experience has transformed into providing guidance and mentoring of therapists throughout North America on how to maximize recovery and performance in developing and elite athletes. Chantal Lauzon - Chantal has been the Senior Practice Manager at the Canadian Physiotherapy Association for the past two years. Prior to that, she held a variety of leadership roles within The Ottawa Hospital and as a volunteer within the Eastern Ontario District of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association. Chantal completed the Leadership Academy in 2009, a joint program offered by The Ottawa Hospital, Telfer School of Management and Rotman School of Management.

Tim Paquette - Tim is the Manager of CPA's Career Pathway Programs. He comes to this position with direct project management and promotion experience provincially and nationally as well international experience in the area of project development activities. Tim has boundless energy and enthusiasm for everything that he does; he enjoys being busy and active, especially through sports. Tim is the proud father of two teens, Arianna and Dean, and is supported by his partner Sandii, who works at the National Gallery of Canada.

Anne Sado - Anne has been President of George Brown College since 2004. Her impact on the vision, direction and culture of the college has resulted in significant growth at George Brown, and has activated a critical public discussion on the value of college education in Ontario’s economic development. Emma Stokes - Emma is deputy head of the Department of Physiotherapy and a Fellow of Trinity College Dublin. She teaches on the university’s entry to practice programmes in Dublin and Singapore. Her research focuses on matters related to professional practice eg leadership in the profession. She has been a member of the WCPT board since 2007 and was elected President in 2015. Full bio here.

Dave Walton - Dave is an Associate Professor with the School of Physical Therapy at Western University, an Associate Scientist with the Lawson Health Research Institute, and Director of the Pain and Quality of Life Integrative Research Lab.  He is an active member of Western's Bone and Joint Institute for musculoskeletal research excellence, an active member of severalresearch and professional groups both nationally and internationally, and Associate Editor of the Journal of Musculoskeletal Science and Practice.  An award-winning scholar,  teacher and mentor, Dave’s expertise is in chronic pain, augmented rehabilitation, professional development, and futurism and leadership.  A passionate advocate for the profession, Dave has engaged in several initiatives at the local and governmental levels to promote the value of physiotherapy to Canadians.  He is the lead researcher on the innovative Physio Moves Canada project. Tanja Yardley - Tanja is currently the Vice President of Outpatient Services for CBI Health Group in British Columbia and past co-owner of Rehabilitation in Motion, Pro-Motion Consulting Ltd. (Multimedia Training Resources) and Ergonomics in Motion (Occupational Health and Safety Consulting). She previously chaired the Business Affairs Committee and served as Vice President on the Board of the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia and she continues to serve in the Private Practice Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She teaches internationally on clinical best practices and effective communication strategies for complex clinical cases and consults with numerous insurers on best practice service delivery models. She oversees the operations of 47 interdisciplinary clinics, providing mentorship and coaching to clinicians and managers who want to start, grow and sustain a successful healthcare practice. She recently co-authored a book on business ethics and best practices and regularly submits articles to trade publications.
