In response to the CPA and AQP’s letter to the Premier of Quebec we received confirmation that the Quebec Ministry of Health has included physiotherapists and physical rehabilitation therapists in their call-out for health care practitioners. We applaud the recognition of the skills that physiotherapists and physical rehabilitation therapists bring to the health care system and are proud our members are willing and ready to support.
This message serves as an urgent request for physiotherapists and physical rehabilitation therapists who are willing to support in Quebec, to sign up to support in the management of the COVID-19 outbreak through this link:

Please note: the Ministry of Health has already begun outreach to health care practitioners on the list and selection and deployment will be dependent on region, availability, qualification and staffing requirements. By indicating your interest on the list, it DOES NOT guarantee your participation. The CPA and AQP will continue to support the Ministry of Health in Quebec as they execute the mobilisation and deployment of health care professionals across the province.
