Despite being told as a young child that she had inverted thigh bones and would have challenges running, she has raced the Boston Marathon and competed in the 2016 Ironman World Championships. Lauren is the creator of the Real Running Course and has taught clinicians all over Canada how to assess and treat runners of all ages and abilities. She has contributed to various podcasts, been published in Canada Running Magazine, and a Canada Running Series Panel Speaker. Her team at The Running Physio is the official Physiotherapy Partner of the Canada Running Series races in Ontario, and they are also the lead sponsor of the Freestyle 5k and 1k Kids Run with all proceeds going to Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. As a mom and business owner, Lauren feels strongly about supporting other female entrepreneurs in business and keeps busy working with helping others to grow their dream.
