The Pelvic and Reproductive Health Division Team

Marie-Ève Lavoie (she/her)
Marie-Ève finished her MSc in Physiotherapy in December 2023 after completing her BSc in Physiotherapy at Laval University. Her interest in pelvic health increased during her Bachelor’s degree and she wanted to become more involved in spreading the many benefits. Marie-Ève has been practicing pelvic and reproductive health in a rural area for a year now. In her free time, she likes to do crossfit, snowboard and spend time with her friends and family.

Anne-Marie Violette (she/her)
Anne-Marie graduated from Laval University and has completed the Microprogram in perineal and pelvic rehabilitation from Montreal University. She practices in pelvic health and paediatrics and she’s currently the vice-president of the Quebec Physiotherapy Association. She thrives to advocate for pelvic care access throughout Canada. Outside of being an invested PT, Anne-Marie is a proud mom of two girls who loves long runs: in the winter, you might see her skiing downhill with them!

Dana Elliott (she/her)
Dana practices in pelvic health, orthopaedics, and paediatrics. She completed her BSc and BHK degrees at UBC before completing her MScPT at the University of Alberta in 2011. Dana has been practicing in pelvic and reproductive health physio for over 10 years now, is a lab assistant with PHS, and is a member of UBC’s Advancing the Science of Physiologic Birth Research Cluster. Living in a ski town Dana takes every chance there is to get up the hill, which she especially loves to do with her two kids. When not skiing or working Dana loves to read curled up with her two cats.

Julie Medwid (she/her)
Julie is a rural physiotherapist practicing in a variety of settings including pelvic health, sport, and general orthopaedics. She has completed her bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Masters degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Manitoba. Through her own experience working in a rural setting, Julie understands how hard it can be for people to access pelvic health care, including long travel distances and limited local services. Outside of her physiotherapist role she is a mother to two young children and enjoys being physically active in a variety of ways whether cross country skiing, hiking, or general strength training.

Rendalyn Preun (she/her)
Rendalyn graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saskatchewan, followed by the Graduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne.
