Candidates wishing to pursue their credentials in Sport Physiotherapy must follow a multi step process to ensure they meet the necessary criteria to challenge at each level.

Sport Physiotherapy Canada exam registrations are below. Please thoroughly review SPC Program Resources and SPC Prerequisites when registering to ensure you are meeting the criteria and submitting the correct supporting documentation.

1) Certificate Written Exam

Dates: November 22nd, 2024 OR December 6th, 2024
The fourth Friday of November OR The first Friday of December
Time: 2pm EST
Location: Online
Language(s): English and French

Exam Fee: $420 (+tax)

Registration closes the third Monday of October

Cancellation

Cancellations received prior to the registration deadline will receive a full refund, minus a $75 administrative fee.
Cancellations received after the registration deadline are not eligible for a refund, unless a medical or extenuating circumstance can be provided.

2) Certificate Oral Practical Exam

Dates: May 2-4, 2025
Locations: Saskatoon, SK (West) & Montreal, QC (East)
Language(s): English and French (in the Eastern location only)

Exam Fee: $1000 (+tax)

Registration closes the third Monday of February

This form is due the third Monday of April
*If the requisite documentation is not submitted by the deadline, candidates will not be permitted to challenge the oral practical exam and they will forgo their exam registration fees

Candidates should expect an email within a month of the event with their date/time slot.

Policy

Upon completing the registration form, candidates must also submit their supporting documents using the link provided in order for their application to be deemed complete.
Candidates are to block the entire weekend. Switches – date / time, will not be permitted. Creating the exam schedule is incredibly complex and time consuming, we appreciate your understanding.
Priority will be given to candidates who reside within each exam region. Please do not apply “out of region”.

Exam Accommodation Requests:
Any requests to modify the format or timeframe (with supporting documentation to confirm this is required) must be submitted at the time of the registration deadline. The request must be submitted by email to support@sportphysio.ca AND exams@sportphysio.ca; otherwise, the application will be deferred to the following year.
