POSITION SUMMARY
The Physiotherapist (PT) is responsible for the coordination and provision of physiotherapy services to clients of all ages in an acute care setting, outpatient clinic, community, and home care setting. The delivery of physiotherapy services will be based upon client-centered approach, emphasizing the involvement of the client, and caregivers in defining optimal health, function, treatment, and goal development.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Entry-to-practice academic credential in physiotherapy from an accredited Canadian university program or the approved equivalent if internationally educated
-Must be eligible to practice and maintain registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba or in the provincial register as an examination candidate (Where the examination is required during the next available exam offering to maintain employment)
-Membership with the applicable body in Manitoba and Canadian Association preferred
-Membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association preferred
-Valid Manitoba Class V driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel the region year round
-Working knowledge of Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet
