Interior Health’s Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) has a full time Physiotherapist opening. Shifts are 08:00 to 16:00 hours and includes shared coverage of rotating weekend shifts.

In this position, a Physiotherapist is offered varied experience in as many areas as possible within Acute care. RIH’s Physiotherapists work in many areas of the hospital: Orthopedics, Complex Rehab, Neuro, Medical Intensive, Critical Care/Trauma, Emergency, Cardiac ICU, Daycare Surgery, Oncology, Palliative, Stroke Medical, General Surgical and Outpatient follow up. In this position, a Physiotherapist will have varied work duties, as per operational requirements. It is a position alternating through all areas of Acute Care.

We will provide you with an orientation customized to meet your needs and offer support and access to excellent colleagues and the Physiotherapy Professional Practice Leader. RIH Physiotherapists work to the full scope of practice and you will get to experience everything. While working in a career within the tertiary acute care setting you will grow in your abilities as you gain exposure to every diagnosis.

This position is suitable for a new graduate or a seasoned therapist.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
• Valid BC Driver’s license where required.
