Ottawa, Ontario – CEO, Krissy Bell of The Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) provided an operations update to members summarizing the ongoing initiatives underway in achievement of its 2025 Strategic Vision.  

As part of her update, she announced that she will be taking an abbreviated maternity leave from May 22, 2024 until August 6, 2024 to welcome the birth of her second child. 
 
Current CPA Chief Services Corporate Officer, Fiona Livingstone, has been appointed as Acting CEO for the duration of Ms Bell’s maternity leave and will work closely with the CPA Board and the CPA Leadership Team to ensure continuity in the delivery of the 2024 Operations Plan.
