The Canadian Physiotherapy Association Kicks Off National Physiotherapy Month 2025
May 01, 2025

Today, the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) kicks off its National Physiotherapy Month celebrations, which will bring together physiotherapy professionals from across Canada to recognize the innovative work being done within the profession, empower one another, and raise awareness about the critical role that physiotherapy plays in improving the health outcomes of Canadians.
This year’s theme, Physiotherapy Moves Communities, highlights the profound impact that physiotherapy professionals have in supporting the health and well-being of individuals and communities across the country. The CPA recognizes the unique and essential contributions of physiotherapy professionals in delivering efficient and effective care for all Canadians.
Throughout the month of May, the CPA will spotlight the profession through a series of diverse testimonials and special celebrations, including PTA Day (May 13, 2025), Physiotherapy Technologist (le technologue en physiothérapie/T. Phys.) Day (Date to be confirmed), and Volunteer Day (May 21, 2025).
A bilingual downloadable toolkit of shareable resources has also been created to help support practices and celebrate physiotherapy professionals directly within their communities.
Join the celebration by FOLLOWING us on social media, USING THE HASHTAG #NPM2025 on your posts, and TAGGING the CPA when sharing the toolkit materials and resources!
