Salary Range: $85,000.00 To $121,000.00 Annually
Clinic Director(Physiotherapist) – Lifemark Physiotherapy Surrey City Centre 

*** Relocation Assistance and up to $2,500 Signing Bonus Available, depending on the level of Experience***

This ideal candidate must be a Physiotherapist with a minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience. The individual will be energized to recognize new opportunities to develop future business, experience with strategic planning, budgeting and development of business plans and has a passion for developing clinical excellence through mentorship, education and professional development. This position is a split management/clinician position, the ideal candidate will treat their own patients for a portion of the week, whilst spending the remainder of their time on management duties.

Lifemark Physiotherapy Surrey City Centre is a spacious 3000 foot facility offering a mix of private and curtained treatment rooms for physiotherapy, massage therapy and acupuncture. The clinic has gym space within the clinic for exercise prescription, as well as access to the adjacent Steve Nash Gym. The clinic offer a wide variety of services, including physiotherapy, massage therapy, kinesiology, active rehabilitation, dry needling, intramuscular simulation (IMS) Shockwave, and more!

About the Opportunity:

The Clinic Director will be responsible and accountable for the leadership and overall success of the clinic, overseeing all internal operations related to emphasize goal setting, overseeing all internal operations related to clinical staff and patient services and driving clinic revenue through business development activities. In addition to these tasks, the clinician will contribute clinically within the clinic and spend a % of time each week treating their own patients. This role will appeal to candidates who are seeking an opportunity to drive the success of the clinic with aggressive growth targets, implement processes that positively impact patient services and lead a growing team – all while maintaining a hands-on focus on patient treatment.

Clinical Quality:

  • Ensuring quality improvement in the delivery of patient care.
  • Performing chart audits (reviewing treatment plans for accuracy, clinical reasoning & program selection)
  • Maintaining standards for communication (charts, letters, telephone) with customers
  • Participating in lunch & learns (internal & external as required)
  • Ensuring effective and efficient implementation and development of clinic and corporate standard operating procedures.

Professional Development:

  • Business development, financial management and development of clinic business plans
  • Promoting a climate of success and the highest level of service within the clinic by strong supportive leadership and a positive attitude
  • Monitoring customer service programs to provide an outstanding experience to patients, physicians and other clients
  • Maintaining a strong presence in the clinic, mentor and develop potential leaders within the team for the benefit of future growth of the organization.
  • Demonstrating clinical leadership and expertise through mentorship and the management of professional development for clinical staff
  • Performing 1:1 monthly meetings with all clinical staff- review of physiotherapist scorecard and other objective measures of performance
  • Developing corrective action plan when performance issues are identified
  • Assisting Office Manager in recruitment and hiring of staff

You are:

  • A graduate of a recognized university with an applicable degree in physiotherapy
  • Registered with the appropriate provincial regulatory body (required)
  • Experienced as a Physiotherapist (3+ years preferred)
  • Able to adapt to changes in priorities, possessing business acumen.
  • Proven to improve revenues through business development activities and building relationships.
  • An advocate for our patients and customers.
  • A strong leader with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Experienced with strategic planning, budgeting and development of business plans.
  • Energized to recognize new opportunities to develop future business
