Excellent opportunity to join the professional team of the Child Development Centre in Whitehorse, Yukon, where we provide early intervention services to children from birth to five years. You will work out of our beautiful, new, purpose-built building located in the downtown core. You will be on a transdisciplinary team responsible for assessment, consultation and intervention for children with various needs. Travel to rural communities may be required. A relocation allowance of up to $2000 is available.

• The salary range is $43.17 – $52.52 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience

• Employees of the Child Development Centre primarily work following the school calendar

This position is covered by the Public Service Alliance of Canada Collective Agreement.
Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy;
• Currently registered or ability to be registered as a Physiotherapist with the Government of Yukon;
• Experience working in a cross-cultural setting;
• Experience working with young children with developmental needs and their families;
• Experience working in a transdisciplinary team setting;
• Knowledge of assessment and intervention strategies for young children; and
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
