We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pelvic Health/MSK Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various pelvic health and musculoskeletal conditions. This role involves working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans and requires comfort working in a gym environment to integrate exercise into the rehabilitation process. We expect steady building of your caseload through strong connections with our dedicated referral sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with pelvic health and MSK issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and exercise prescription.
  • Incorporate gym-based exercises into treatment plans to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients on their conditions and provide guidance on injury prevention and wellness strategies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Specialized training and experience in pelvic health physiotherapy.
  • Experience with musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
  • Comfort working in a gym environment and integrating exercise into patient care.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Levels 1, 2, and 3 (or equivalent) as recognized by professional associations.
  • Experience in pre-natal, post-natal and pelvic health exercise-based rehabilitation strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of pelvic pain management and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Active membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g., Canadian Physiotherapy Association).
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth through continuous education and training.
  • Proven ability to develop strong patient relationships and deliver exceptional care.
