Physiotherapist Position at Ignite Athletics Inc.

Ignite Athletics Inc. is seeking a highly skilled, passionate, and ambitious Physiotherapist to join our team.

At Ignite Athletics, we are dedicated to providing research-based training and rehabilitation services to athletes and individuals of all levels. Our facility is known for its comprehensive approach to sports performance, fitness, and recovery, making us a leader in athletic development and wellness. We are a Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan Campus and have 6,000 – 10,000 unique athletes that come through our facility every year.

We are located in the Gordie Howe Sports Complex, which grants us access to two training facilities (11,000 sq. ft. and 2000 sq ft.), 7 treatment rooms, and a 90 x 65-yard turf space. We also have an abundance of equipment and technology to further help serve our client base.

We would like for anyone interested that has graduated from a recognized School of Physiotherapy and is a registered member in good standing with a Canadian College of Physiotherapy to apply.

Our ideal candidate would have at least 3-years of experience. A keen interest in sports rehabilitation and professional development.  Applicants with their Certificate or Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy would be an advantage.

Location: Saskatoon, SK

Position Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

–              Provide physiotherapy services to a diverse clientele, including high-performance athletes and recreational individuals.

–              Help establish clinic, administrative and professional development protocols.

–              Ensures that clinical policies and procedures are in place to enable high quality clinical decision-making and client care.

–              Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including Strength and Conditioning Coaches, Massage Therapists, Chiropractors and Dieticians to deliver integrated care.

–              Educate clients on injury prevention and health maintenance.

–              Contribute to the community and mentoring atmosphere of Ignite Athletics Inc., where positive, motivating experiences help shape our clients’ journeys.

Qualifications:

–              Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.

–              Licensed to practice Physiotherapy in Saskatchewan.

–              Experience in sports physiotherapy and working with athletes is preferred.

–              Strong understanding of sports performance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation principles.

–              Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

–              A commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest physiotherapy practices and techniques.
