Shauna Slobodian
Education Lead

Shauna completed her MSc in Physiotherapy at Queen’s University in 2010. She has spent the last decade working with seniors. In 2015 she by chance saw a course listing for canine rehab and ventured down that path. At the same time her dog decided she needed two knee surgeries and became her first patient! Shauna now devotes her practice to senior dogs and runs Pawsitively Fit Canine Rehabilitation & Wellness, a mobile canine rehab business.  Why seniors? Because they have so much untapped potential and are often overlooked!

Shauna loves to run, read, and spend time with her family, including her preschool aged son Sam who also loves to run! Shauna also tries to continue to further her knowledge in all aspects of the canine world and continues to take classes with her yellow lab Maggie.  They’ve done lots of obedience, agility, and canine good neighbour! There is always something new to learn.

Shauna achieved her Diploma in Canine Rehabilitation in 2019 and is the Education Lead for the ARD.
